Tarik Alireza Consulting Engineers (TAA) is a multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering company established in 1977 with in-house departments for architecture, engineering, interior design and landscaping. Based in Jeddah, the practice has undertaken projects throughout Saudi Arabia with overseas projects in Morocco, Japan, UK, France, Spain, Romania, Cyprus, Lebanon, UAE, Kuwait, Egypt, Yemen and the Bahamas.
Projects include Cultural, Religious, Touristic, Medical, Commercial, Residential and Interior Design. Since 1980, a technical support office has been maintained in Athens, Greece. In recent years, an expanded range of services has been offered to clients, including construction management.
TAA is a contemporary practice that also strongly believes projects should reflect a sense of place, besides being sympathetic to the environment. In recent years, most clients express a keen desire for the incorporation of traditional architectural design principles and motifs. Our long association with national and regional heritage issues is supported by an extensive photographic archive and reference library. Furthermore, we have developed a network of master artisan craftsmen specializing in the traditional decorative arts of the Middle East.
TAA have been exclusively associated with international engineering firm Halcrow within Saudi Arabia since 2009, and are currently forming a Joint Venture Company.
